The Hereford community of monkeys is growing. Jeff Jones continues to spot them. Here’s the next splendid monkey. This is a fabulous tree – it’s in the front garden of a house on the Roman Road, the A4103.
This is a lovely monkey puzzle tree. I have to admit I have a personal preference for the monkeys that retain their lower branches like this. Lovely. This one looks like a female, with new cones in the higher branches.
You’ll see I’ve introduced a reference system now for the growing community in Hereford. This is H4, the fourth tree. Here’s a map of the others so far:
The latest monkey on the map, H5, was spotted in the back yard of a house on Kernal Street in Hereford. It’s a youngster, and obviously a bit neglected, but thriving OK.
Continued thanks to Jeff Jones for his enthusiastic monkey spotting and photographing.
